Environmental Health offers assistance in response to various disasters and accidents. These may include hazardous materials spills, clandestine drug labs, sewage spills, flood events, and other threats to public health and safety. Our primary role is to provide technical assistance to the Incident Commander of the event and ensure that public health issues are properly addressed. The division’s involvement is provided in accordance with the California Health and Safety Code as well as Chapter 9 of the Lake County Code.
